So you, my dear reader may know that I enjoy spouting my rambling, and at times, paranoid opinions on our government, religion, and other hot topics here on my blog.

But really, I'm quite fed up.

All this talk of gushing oil, legal racial profiling, people teabagging each other has really got me down.

So I have been choosing to play dumb. I have been consuming a minimal amount of current events out of fear that I will be caught in a social situation where any of these topics pop up. But really, I have mostly been reading celebrity news. Watching reality t.v. (Bethanny Getting Married? Anyone?) And looking at cute puppies doing adorable things on you tube.

While many people may call my viewpoints dumb, I don't think I'm actually dumb. But currently, I am choosing ignorance.

So bring it on second season of Jersey Shore! I really need you now.
