Remember this thing I made?

Well it's finally gone. I'm glad too. As much as I liked it because it was weird, I also didn't like it because it was...just too weird.

I visited my family this weekend, and my sister sent me home with this bit of awesome usefulness.

...much better. No more hanging my potholders on a fallen tree branch.

And I have a place to put my fun kitchen stuff.

The recipe box my grandma gave me. I painted it in chalkboard paint, and added that little silver bit to the front of it. I still haven't sat down to actually transfer my favorite recipes to it yet.

There's that duck again

My kitchen looks a hundred times better. And once I'm finished with the gajillion embroidery projects I've started, I plan to paint the doors...with what else? Chalkboard paint of course. I have lots of ideas for it, so who knows what it will end up looking like.
